This is an intensive rope rescue course, fully comprehensive with 16 lessons over a 10 hour day. As a climber, one needs to be self-sufficient in a high angle climbing environment and basic rescue skills are critical. The industry's premiere Avalanche Safety Training 2 course. This is an intensive fast track course of intermediate level held in a world-class venue. It has been specifically designed for the backcountry skier/boarder that has completed the AST 1 course, possess' modertate backcountry skiing/boarding experience and is now looking to broaden their avalanche safety knowledge. This "Plus" course is further augmented by additional MSA proprietary curriculum and essential skills training. Indoor morning and evening lectures supplement avalanche theory and safety principles.
