Try rappelling down a cliff face like an action hero!
Duration: Half Day
You are safely rigged up to a system of ropes and you control your descent while your guide ensures your safety. Go as fast or slow as you want. Rappelling is more of a mental than a physical challenge. Your guide will instruct you in how to make your way down.
The most challenging part is when you first step over the edge and lean into the rope while you sit back into your harness. Your guide offers gentle encouragement, so that you can stretch your comfort zone! We call this the ‘fun zone’!
We provide all the equipment needed including harness, helmet, ropes, and shoes if you need them. No experience is needed. Depending on the size of the group, you should get several opportunities to rappel during the tour.
Adventure Check In:
8:30am:Meet the guide at 8:15am at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
1:30pm:Meet the guide at 1:15pm at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
At the office you will meet your guide for the day, sign waiver, grab all your climbing gear and discuss the outlook for the day.
Next you will then drive to the climbing area and enjoy your day of climbing!
All climbing equipment is included.

The above individual climbing equipment, as well as all group climbing equipment, will be brought by your guide.
If you own your own equipment and choose to use it please let us know in advance.
Weather conditions here are constantly changing. Plan ahead, look at the weather forecast, and prepare for the potential weather conditions. Consider that when you are not climbing you can cool down quickly, so bringing layers is a good plan.
