Departures are flexible and can be arranged from the Whistler heli base, Vancouver Harbour Heliport for an additional $3,860 plus GST per reservation, or even directly from your accommodation via helicopter pickup or private ground transfer.

What is the difference between the Glacier Tours?
The Glacier Ascent involves using crampons and ice axes and climbing the Glacier as a rope team, it’s real mountaineering!
Glacier Discovery is an interpretive tour that brings you up close and personal with the alpine environment while learning about the flora and fauna, and the glaciological history of Whistler.
Glacier Glissading is like a giant waterslide but on the snow! This tour is condition dependent and only runs earlier in the Summer while there is still snow sitting on the glacier.
Is food included on the tour?
Yes, a fully catered picnic is included, giving you time to relax and take in the glacier views during your adventure.
Is the Ice Cave Adventure suitable for children?
Yes, children aged 2 and up can join. All children must pay for a seat unless under 2 years old, in which case they may sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.
What should I wear and bring?
You should dress for alpine conditions. Bring a weatherproof shell jacket and pants, warm insulating layers, waterproof boots, gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen. A small backpack and a camera are also recommended. Safety equipment is provided.
Where does the tour depart from?
Most tours depart from the Whistler Municipal Heliport. For an additional cost, departures can be arranged from the Vancouver Harbour Heliport or even directly from your accommodation via helicopter pickup or private ground transfer.
How long is the Ice Cave Adventure tour?
The full experience lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, including a 60-minute scenic helicopter flight. The remaining time is spent exploring the glacier and enjoying a catered picnic.
