Kids Mountain Adventure Camp is geared towards children ages 8-12. This three day camp in Whistler, BC is designed for active kids with exciting adventures and educational experiences in the outdoors.

Adventure Information

Have fun in the mountains while learning some useful outdoor skills

Our Mountain Adventure Camp give your children the chance to discover what they enjoy and be challenged and excited all day, every day. Kids Mountain Adventure Camp are geared towards children ages 8-12. This three day camp is designed for active kids with exciting adventures and educational experiences in the outdoors. Children are closely supervised by highly trained adult guides while exploring the beauty of Whistler.


Every day is different

We go to the Whistler Village Gondola for a Sky Walk tour and a hike; we go rock climbing and hiking in the valley and include a variety of outdoor skills in each activity. Our first priority is safety, followed closely by fun!


MSAA have kid adventure camps in both Whistler and Squamish, BC Canada as well as Teen Climbing Camps!

Whistler is located in the Sea to Sky corridor past Squamish. If you are driving from Vancouver International Airport, make your way north through the city towards North Vancouver. You will get on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway (Hwy 99 North) and follow it north to the town of Whistler.

The location for each day will change depending on the activity your child will be doing. We will send out a full itinerary closer to the camp date.

*please note this camp does not include camping or food. For lunch we recommend supplying your child with a high energy meal each day.

Sample Day Itinerary:

A typical day at camp comprises of two activities, one activity in the morning then another in the afternoon. Exceptional instruction from our trained guides, partnered with a remarkable location makes MSAA Kids Mountain Adventure Camp a unique and special place.


A more detailed itinerary will be supplied closer to the camp date with drop off locations.

Whistler Gondola:

A lift ticket will need to be purchased on top of the camp price for day 1 & 2.

Morning Activities: 

Activities include: Sky Walk, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Glacier Glissading,  Outdoor Skills.


Worked up an appetite? It’s time to replenish your energy stores ready for the afternoon activities. If you still have energy left the guide will be ready for a quick game or you can chat with new friends your have made!

Afternoon Activities: 

Activities include: Via Ferrata, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Glacier Glissading, Outdoor Skills.

* please be aware that this is a sample itinerary, a full itinerary will be planned by MSAA shortly before the camp.

What do I need to pack for camp?

Coastal weather can be unpredictable. Campers must be prepared to spend the day outside in all types of weather: sunshine, rain, wind, etc. Please plan, pack, and dress accordingly.

Things to bring:

  • Whistler Gondola Tickets (Day 1 & 2)
  • Weatherproof shell jacket and pants. Shorts are acceptable depending on conditions
  • Warm layer(s)
  • Light gloves
  • Hiking shoes or sturdy closed-toe shoes
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • lunch (Please no items containing nuts)
  • Water
  • Snacks (Please no items containing nuts)
  • Camera
  • Small Backpack
  • Personal items you may require

Weather varies from warm, dry days to cooler, rainy days. Daily temperatures at the camp in July and August range from 12-24 degrees Celsius (55-75 degrees Fahrenheit).

Bring a mix of summer clothing and warmer clothing for the cool nights and mountain activities. Bring a small backpack on outings to carry a water bottle and any extra layers in case the weather changes while we are out.
