ICE CLIMBING EXPERIENCE
A DAY OF SWINGING AXES AND KICKING CRAMPONS ON BEAUTIFUL BLUE ICE!
First-time climbers will be introduced to ice climbing at a smaller, easier wall. It’s a surprisingly simple activity that any moderately fit person can enjoy.
No climbing experience is necessary. All ice climbing equipment is included. Experience an adventure unlike any other under the direct supervision of a professional guide.
What is the Ice Climbing Experience?
To access the climbing site on Blackcomb Mountain, you must be at least an intermediate skier or snowboarder. Depending on ice conditions, alternative off-resort locations that do not require skiing may be available.
This is a full-day adventure starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishing at 4:30 p.m. Our favourable location is on Blackcomb Mountain, which requires access via the gondola.
Minimum age: 16 years (guests must be at least 16 years old to climb without a guardian).
All minors: (19 years & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.
Private tours: We may accommodate younger children on private tours. Please contact us for more details.
Bring a camera to capture this amazing adventure! If you have a GoPro, we have helmets with mounts for you!

SKI JACKET & PANTS
To keep yourself warm and dry during the day, a ski shell jacket & pants are a must!
Warm Layers
It can get cold in the winter (trust us!), so be sure to bring some extra layers to stay warm.
SKI GEAR
To access the climbing site, you need ski or snowboarding gear. If you are unsure about this, contact us, or you can rent from Premium Mountain Rentals.
SKI PASS
You will need a ski lift ticket to access Whistler Blackcomb. If you don’t already have a season pass, we sell day tickets, which can be added when booking!
