Hike up to and along the edge of Whistler Mountain overlooking amazing mountain views.

This summer, take a walk on the snow and ice atop Whistler Mountain and take in the natural landscape sculpted by ancient ice! Along the way, you will travel back 10,000 years to learn about the formation of the Coast Mountains glaciers.
The Whistler Sky Walk is a new guided tour with amazing views at the top of Whistler Mountain. Follow your guide on a hike and clip your harness into a cable so you can walk along the cliff edge and across the bridges and features. Along the way, you will travel back 10,000 years to learn about the formation of the Coast Mountains glaciers and have a chance to play on the ice and snow.
This two hour adventure is great for families and groups to get a local’s view of the mountain in the summer. Suitable for people of all ages and abilities, especially families with younger children 8 years and up.
**The price of the tour does not include a gondola ticket. Gondola tickets are available for purchase through our office.**
Meet the guide at 8:45 am at the Escape Route Alpine Demo Centre down in the village before taking you to the mountaintop office.
1:00 pm Adventures:
Meet at our Mountaintop Office at 12:45 pm. To get to the mountaintop office, take the Whistler Gondola all the way to the top. Walk out of the gondola station about 100m and look for the wooden building on the right.
Note: The Whistler Village Gondola takes 30 minutes from bottom to top and line-ups can get quite busy, so plan to get to the top with plenty of time before the start of your tour.
At the mountaintop office, the guide will have you sign a waiver and be outfitted with your climbing gear. You can also borrow hiking boots here.
All safety equipment is included.

At the top of the gondola you will be in an alpine mountain environment where weather and conditions can change fast – it is best to be prepared with extra clothing layers.
