COURSE INFORMATION

Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 3 certification represents the highest level of first aid training available for workplace responders. This comprehensive program is designed to equip individuals with advanced skills and knowledge necessary to manage complex medical emergencies effectively. OFA Level 3 training goes beyond basic first aid and covers a wide range of topics, including advanced airway management, cardiac emergencies, trauma assessment, advanced wound care, and medication administration. Participants also learn how to effectively coordinate and manage emergency response teams, communicate with emergency medical services (EMS), and provide ongoing care until professional help arrives.

Students can expect a mix of indoor and outdoor learning for the practical outdoor training, please prepare for any weather conditions.

Students can use their own outdoor gear so as to be familiar with the equipment that will be available to them in a real world first aid situation.

Things to bring:
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Weatherproof outerwear for the outdoors portion of the course. Please check the weather forecast each day and dress appropriately.
  • Lunch/Snacks/Water
  • Pen/pencil and notebook (recommended)
  • First Aid/Guide’s pack if you have one
